FREE SUPPLEMENT

TREVOR LEGATE’S BOOK ‘COBRA’

We’re publishing Trevor’s well researched and well written book as an occasional serialisation.

This month we reproduce another 32 pages, 96 through to 128, of his original 1983 work.

This part deals with ‘The Cobra 427 – The real thing!’ – one of the most copied

cars of all-time. Trevor Legate details the development, testing and racing of the original

Cobra 427 in all its guises and variants. This article is illustrated with rare original monochrome

1960’s photographs; some taken within the Thames Ditton factory.

Market Place

If you’re looking to buy a used kit car; there’s a reasonable crop, for the time of year, in this issue (in our 16 page Market-Place section at the back). Certainly more than in any other similar publication – about 75 in this issue! Our Market-Place section, at the back of every issue of Kit Car, is brimming with life and is clearly THE place to buy or sell.
