The new all-electric Ford Explorer SUV has been officially released. The new car is based on Volkswagen MEB platform. This is first model released after collaboration with Volkswagen, mainly for European market.

The exterior design of Ford Explorer EV is quite original. The front part is made in a new style. The closed air intake grille is still a common all-electric vehicle design, making Explorer EV's front end more concise. . The pass-through design does not reflect on light group, but connects two sets of headlights through a car logo decorative strip to make front of car more consistent.

Despite name Explorer, this purely electric SUV has nothing to do with Explorer currently on sale and is more focused on European market. As a model on MEB platform, this car is still guaranteed in terms of performance, but it is expected to be same as Volkswagen models in terms of range, which is not particularly striking. The probability of appearing in domestic market is still relatively high. Ford does not currently have such purely electric models in domestic market and may appear under other names as a complement to existing models.
