Get rid of greasy image of past? This time, imaginary picture of Camry is slightly ahead

We have received a set of imaginary images of new generation Camry from respective channels, and new car is expected to be unveiled during this year. The look of new generation Camry has changed a lot, overall design style has become more radical and interior is also expected to adopt latest design language.

Looking back at design of imaginary diagram, although this is only first version of imaginary diagram, level of drawing is still relatively high and there is no sign of accidental splicing. The front end adopts design elements from bZ family, and overall style is basically same as that of Prius and other new cars. Compared to old model, design is undoubtedly more avant-garde. This look also takes Camry beyond previous executive models. While current model has added a lot of sporty flair, it's still a comfortable and easy-to-drive model that can also accommodate some administrative tasks.

The design of rear of car has also become more futuristic. While maintaining heavy feel of current model, more technological elements have been added. The feel of technology echoes front of car. The interior is also expected to follow design style of Crown SportCross and dual screen design will also be continued and it is expected to be equipped with more sporting elements.

In terms of power, new generation Camry will use a hybrid and plug-in hybrid as its primary powertrain. Whether existing naturally aspirated engine retains entry-level power, still being equipped with 2.4T or its electrification system, current 3.5L V6 engine in overseas markets will also become history.

The current style of Toyota brand has changed in direction of youth and sportiness. Looking back at Camry import era, Camry was considered a relatively expensive executive car at time. After localization of sixth generation Camry, in addition to changing the name to Camry, it also goes through a comfortable and administrative route.

However, as consumer preferences change, Camry is gradually rejuvenated, in North America it even has a complete set of TRD models with a sporty appearance and a large rear spoiler. Today's latest generation of models, if nothing unexpected happens, will also have a youthful and sporty style, and there will be even more sports tuning in chassis. The new vehicle is just around corner, and GAC Toyota is expected to complete localization and officially enter market in 2024.
