Dodge has released an all-electric Ram 1500 REV. This is a long enough name just to show that it is a ram with an electric motor. Of course, because of “toothpaste squeezing” preview method, everyone is already mentally prepared for this car, but there are still many pleasant moments in design of the new car.
The entire exterior design retains performance of Ram as much as possible. The electric motor drive keeps Ram 1500 REV from blowing too much air, and center grille has a closed design. The LED is also one of characteristics of electric vehicles. The logo and daytime running lights use LED light sources, and visual effect is especially outstanding. However, too many penetrating elements are not used. The shape of bumper is also quite rigid. and heavy, but at same time has not lost its subtle meaning.
There isn't much difference between side and fuel version, except for charging port on fender and newly designed low rolling resistance rim, there aren't many new additions. Judging from official photo shown, it is obvious that this REV is not used for rough work. In addition to being equipped with a rear cargo tarp, it also has side storage compartments for an unknown purpose, which is more lifelike.
At rear, no surprises: basically a few LED lights have been added to make original tail of a commercial pickup not so simple, but the overall design is still inseparable from a traditional pickup.
Only partial interior details have been revealed this time. The overall design of Ram 1500 REV retains layout of fuel version, but more high-tech elements have been added to details. In addition to large-sized floating screen in central control, navigator also has an exclusive touch screen, audiovisual entertainment performance is better .

Dodge has not released relevant information about new car at this time. Performance parameters and most important battery life data are temporarily unknown. Dodge also revealed that Ram REV will be a completely new category of models that will have significant differences. with Ram equipped with internal combustion engines. The difference is in positioning. The new vehicle will enter production in 2024 and go on sale later in 2024 as a 2025 model. However, as with other pure electric pickups, price of this type of pure electric pickup will not be very cheap, and same price is enough to buy a fuel version with good performance and configuration, especially diesel version. In domestic market, parallel importation of such expensive electric pickups does not matter much. Domestic buyers of such models are mainly for pleasure. If there is no special preferential policy, then it is difficult to change anything.
