In current purely electric model system, Mercedes-Benz EQA is a compact SUV that was quickly localized after its release and has significant performance in new energy market. Recently, some foreign media released news that all-electric Mercedes-Benz sedan, supposedly new generation of EQA, is undergoing internal testing at Mercedes-Benz plant in Stuttgart, and many spy photos have emerged along with the news.
According to carefully disguised test model, test model appears to be a standard sedan. The overall outline is very different from outline of shadow preview in new car news released by Mercedes-Benz in May of this year. However, in meantime, in addition to general contour, there is still room for imagination in details, such as elements of group of lamps, reflecting style of exterior design, because the car will not be presented until 2024.
But it's almost confirmed that new EQA will be built on Mercedes-Benz's new modular MMA platform, which will replace current MFA II platform used by EQA and other models, as a way to quickly transition from conventional fuel vehicles to platform architecture care MFA II from scene of history is also an expected result. After all, in line with Mercedes-Benz's product strategy, MMA is a technology platform that can match combustion engine design, but prioritizes pure electrification and will cover development of new Mercedes-Benz compact and heavy-duty vehicles.
At same time, MB.OS, an intelligent multimedia system based on MMA platform, is also expected to be introduced to world with this new EQA sedan as the carrier.
Output:
There is currently little news about new car, so product itself needs further study in addition to official Mercedes-Benz disclosure. However, new MMA platform is indeed worthy of consumer expectations. overall, it supports design of 800V super-charging system. This is expected to significantly reduce future travel time for new energy vehicle owners. In addition, MMA platform is also an important weight for Mercedes-Benz brand, as it allows for increased profits from bicycles and improved performance of entry-level products.
Earlier, Mercedes-Benz planned to reduce its entry-level product line from original 7 models to 4 models, which to a certain extent means that new entry-level vehicles of Mercedes-Benz brand will increase price. The entry-level Mercedes-Benz embodies sense of dignity of a three-pointed star, which is obviously a very interesting brand dynamic going forward.
