Recently, foreign media have made spy photos of a Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Break test car with an intermediate facelift. As a mid-term facelift model, exterior design adjustment isn't too big. Currently, only front and rear of car are properly optimized to provide best appearance.

The degree of camouflage of test car is low, it can be seen that size of central mesh has been further increased, and size of car logo is also greatly exaggerated, with decorative stripes penetrating. The design of headlights is also relatively familiar, and interior details are quite traditional. The combination of LED light bars and lamps is very common, and headlight details are believed to be common to stock cars.

The side of CLA Shooting Break is still pretty good looking, and high-angled rear window still looks very nice. Aside from difference in lamps, side is pretty much same.

The changes to rear are smaller than front, only bumper and taillights are partially covered. Judging by shape of taillights, it looks like there will be new taillight parts, which is not case. The use of a through-type construction is excluded.

In terms of performance, entire CLA series after mid-term facelift will be equipped with a 48-volt light hybrid system, and most powerful AMG CLA 45 is expected to be equipped with a hybrid system, but data will be same as current models. I believe that in terms of savings and better emissions performance.

Overview

The current range of CLA vehicles was launched in 2019, and in three years CLA has not lost its color. Right now it seems that look is still online. The CLA's mid-term facelift has more to do with interior improvements, addition of a mild hybrid system and AMG electrification will also bring more new feel to CLA car series. The medium-term facelift of CLA will not be delayed for too long. According to foreign media reports, CLA will aim for a release within this year. If it follows this pace, it will be officially launched next year. In domestic market, although CLA is positioned as a personalized model, given the unique positioning of this car, it cannot be ruled out that it will be launched at a similar time frame.
