Eagle RV

The Eagle RV (recreational vehicle) is a tough and versatile motor car.
Built with fun combined with practicalitv at the forefront of the designers list of objectives.

It has been available as a kit car since 1983. It is one of the most successful and longest established kit cars of all times. More than 1000 examples have been built so far.

The styling is of a robust and efficient nature. One might even sav utilitarian.
But that is exactly the point of this vehicle. Pile it up with luggage / sports equipment/ the family dog and whatever else you can think of. Then go out and enjoy yourself.

BUILDABLE
Ease of construction is the name of the game as far as the Eagle RV is concerned.
Its solidly engineered chassis is simple to assemble with the standard parts from a Ford Sierra donor car Hardly any modifications are required which contributed to make the Eagle RV one of the easiest of all kit cars to construct. If you are new to kit car building then you won't go far wrong by starting with an Eagle RV. Its simple no frills approach means that you wont have problems with complex interiors or fancy electrics nor anything else.
You just take the bits listed out of the Sierra and fit them to the Eagle RV chassis in much the same way as they were originally mounted. Kit cars don't come much simpler to build than that.
INEXPENSIVE
Considering that the Eagle RV is a relative lv large and handsome vehicle with oodles of practicality and of proven design. You might be surprised to learn that vou can build one for less than half the price of the most basic hatchback. At the time of writing the cars shown in this brochure could be put on the road in basic form for as little as £3000. Obviously the fitting of optional extras will increase this cost. The basic body and chassis kit is priced at only £1700 (at time of going to press). The balance is made up of the cost of a donor Sierra (plus any spare parts required) plus a set of large wheels.
Please refer to our current price list for the additional cost of accessories and upgrades.
